try checking your silinoid. Some of these newer vehicles have an electronic silinoid that is responsible for engaging your transfer case into four wheel drive. Also if you have push button or shift on the fly four wheel drive your switch may have gone bad. I hope this helps you.
Depending on the year, it is not posted, it may be a bad transfer case motor. The clicking you are hearing is the motor trying to engage transfer case & front axle. It looks like a windshield wiper motor & when it gets power & works properly it engages front wheels. Again, depending on the year, may be 4 wheel drive actuator or switches bad on front axle or transfer case.
See vacume pipes at the front wheels. sound like it is broken or pulled out by snow. there is 2 pipes one for brakes on calliper and one for vacume suction to engage or dis engage 4 wheel drive. Enjoy. Willem SA
