Locate wiper fuse in 2001 lincoln continental

Try checking the fuses, refer to your owners manual for the location, also see if it has a relay for the wipers. I have limited time this morning will check back on this later after looking at my 98 Continental.

TAP ON THE MOTOR TO JAR IT WITH THE SWITCH ON AND KEY ON

Usually the fuses are under the drivers side dash however I have seen them in the glove box like on a Cadillac.

However, this sounds like a multifunction switch located on the steering column.

My boyfriend connected the battery up backwards and fried some wires. How do I know which wires are fried? And how much would a new fuse box be?

fuses are located left side of instrument panel and under hood next to left fender.

first loosen and, remove one of the hoses that go to the sprayer then operate the wiper pump you should see the fluid come out of the hose. if it does not come out and, no sound is made from the pump check your fuses if the fuse is ok (find the fuse location in your user manual ) replace the pump motor you can get a replacement at an autoparts store. don't forget to replace the hose.

One fuse works for all the power windows. It probably has a bad window motor or the lift.

if only one window doesn't work the problem is not the circuit breaker (no fuse) it is the window motor.

there are two fuse boxes.

the main one is on the drivers side near the pedals(i believe) and the other one is under the hood..

the heater fuse should be in the primary on...
