There are only 3 bolts/nuts holding the alternator onto the engine,slacken off all 3 then remove belt/refit new,
then using a long bar wedged behind the alternator,do up the adjusting bolt first so that the longest run of the belt has about 1/2 inch slack(both ways)then do up the two remaining bolt/nuts,thats it done.(do check the tension after about 100 miles)
