97 Ford Escort- no heat/ac/defrost or vent fan. Nothing will turn on. Checked all the fuses including the ones under the hood. Worked perfect one day then nothing the next. What could be the problem and how do I fix it?

OK the HVAC system has several components that make it work.
The actual heat is the hot coolany from your engine that flows though a heater core.
The blower fan operates on 12 volts, and runs through a resistor to apply your fan speeds.
The selector to run heat, defrost, ect. runs off of the vehicles engine vacuum, and opens and closes diverter doors.
The A/C uses a pump at the engine, a condersor coil and several switches.
I would look to the HVAC switch controler. Check for voltage there.
Please let me know.

I have a 2003 Ford F-150 FX4 5.4 and the AC only blows out of the defrost and help

Dustin, Sound like vacuum loss to position switch. Defrost is the default position when vacuum is lost in vent control system. Check any and all vacuum lines and connections under hood first, especially any that run through firewall. Check the attached links, instruction and guides, Good luck

I have a 1998 Ford Escort SE .Where do you find the blower motor fuse and replace it?

It is probably not the fuse it is more than likely the connector. Located where the front passenger sits above their feet. Look for the blue wire

97 ford mustang.the fan won't change positions

First thing I would check is all of your vacuum lines. I had same problem and turned out there was a split in one of my vacuum lines. Once I repaired it, it worked perfectly again.

Power windows turn signal and ac/heat wont work

Had the identical same problems on our Chrysler Concorde. We checked all fuses and relays nothing. Then we checked the wiring on the ignition switch mounted under the steering column it was loose. Repositioned it and everything worked perfectly again. Did not cost a thing. Hope this helps!
