First try measuring the length of the wiper blade and calling your dealer or auto parts store to verify that the length is truly correct. Technicians might have grabbed the wrong length. If that's ok, go back to the people who repaired the accident damage and ask them if the arm was correctly installed, sometimes one notch on the shaft of the the blade arm will make the difference in wiper blade travel, if both of these possibilities fail, then maybe the shaft might be bent, or loose. Make sure you are sliding them all the way back and they should clip and lock, some of these anco blades are cheap and wont lock on they just slide back off, maybe try another brand, heres some picture to show you , hope this helps,

sometimes you need to wiggle the blade, they oxidize over time, but you have the right idea!!

My suggestion....go to Schuck's/Kragen?Chief's?Auto Zone....they will install them for FREE.

these are controlled by the BCM (body control module) the dealer can test it for proper function.
