Left hand indicator does not cancel - 2000 Ford Focus

Only the bulb is linked with those seperate items the bulb runs both blinker and hazard normally one goes both go when u have tufrn signal on inside if u hear it flashing fast its ur bulb

I would have thought you would have to change the indicator stalk as it has the cancelation built in

Does the auto-cancellation not work after the steering wheel returns to the home position? If not, you may need to replace the column switch gear, or check if the auto-cancellation mechanism is working.

A long shot but check brake fluid level. Hand brake light also indicates low fluid level! Hope its that simple- are the brakes working normally or do you feel any other symptoms that there may be a problem?

Sounds like the flasher relay in the fusebox under the hood

Your turn signal switch is most probably faulty. You will need to replace it. Please, check the videos below. The first video shows a similar problem on a Renault Clio. The second one shows the operations to replace the turn signal switch. I think that the operations are quite similar in most modern cars. Good luck!

you need to replace the indicator switch(arm)

the stalk needs changing and i would advise a garage locally ,you will need a steering puller extractor and also the air bag needs to be removed ,both specialist jobs

FIRST, IT IS V E R Y DANGEROUS, THE SIGNAL SWITCH NEEDS TO BE REPLACE,IF NOT IT WILL SHOW THAT YOU ARE READY TO TURN, AND YOUR NOT TURNING

i wiried up my focus estate with the following no relays needed as the wiring is protected by the car fuses
pin 1.yellow/left hand indicator
pin 2.blue fog light
pin 3.white/earth
pin 4.right hand indicator
pin 5.brown/right hand tail light
pin 6.red/ brake lights
pin 7. black left hand tail light
connect these to the car wiring with scotch locks as follows/red/blue.right hand indicator/blue.left hand indicator,green/black,left hand indicator,red/green,right hand indicator,orange right hand light,orange and white,left hand lights, finally green/yellow fog light
