Hello, I need some help to fix code P0300 in my 2004 Liberty. thanks
Cheapest thing to do first is run some injector cleaner in the fuel for a couple tanks. If the engine seems to idle a little rough this could help. Also use highest octane when doing this. Clear the code ASAP after you add the cleaner and hope it doesnt come back on. It may take a time or two so if it takes a couple weeks to go thru the fuel dont worry. On the first tank of cleaner use 1 bottle half a tank. Then add another bottle for the second tank, Cross you fingers. Only other option is a tunup . Plugs may be misfiring. Take it in and their going to want to diag it for a hundred bucks at least. Use that as your last option.

The code is for a misfire-can be anything-first reset could have been an isolated hiccup --if code happens again than --did u get a bad load of gas (water in it ) needs a tune up bad or going bad/spark plug-wires-coil-air filter-fuel problem fuel filter-fuel pump these are some of the problems that would give u a misfire code without others
