This is some shots of me making my access panel for my fuel pump in my 86 Trans AM. The fuel tank is a 2002 plastic fuel tank. You'll notice ...
Oldsmobile Alero cars & trucks access fuel pump trunk questions and ... Some cars have an access panel in the trunk under the carpeting, near the back seat on the ... is there an access to the fuel pump beside dropping the tank not unless you cut a ... ...no access hole you have to take the fuel tank out to replace the pump.
You can check under the seat of the Stratus for an access point. But unfortunately I don't think there is door. You are going to be pulling out the tank.
Dodge Stratus fuel filter location, 2001-2002, access top of the gas tank from under the rear seat. Remove the sending unit with filter attached, replace in reverse order of removal. I found having plenty of lighting in there made a difference. Be careful of the gasket and seals and they can be re-used, dont bend the sensor parts or your gas gauge will will be FUBAR. Use proper tools for removing the retaining ring, don't get stupid and start making sparks with a hammer & a screw driver.
