SOURCE: HORN WILL NOT SOUND BUT DOORS WILL LOCK WHEN I USE MY KEYLESS ENT

The title of you problem mentions the horn but the actual problem mentions the flashers? Which is it? You can turn the 'horn beep' feature on and off by simultaneously holding the lock and unlock buttons down on the remote for about 3 seconds or more. When the horn feature is turned on you will hear the horn, and when it turns off you will only see the lights flash.

SOURCE: Horn alarm randomly beeps

Make sure to check all doors, the trunk latch, and the hood to ensure that they are shut. I have looked up your 2006 Chevy Malibu and there has been a lot of people complaining about the alarm system and it going off. There is a TBS (Technical Service Bulletin) out for your car. The TBS says that the Faulty Door Sensor. Take it to your local dealership and tell him what I found for you and they should get you a quote on how much it would cost to repair it.

Thank you for using Fix Ya!
Good Luck!

SOURCE: Pontiac G6 unlock button on

Hi you would have to take your vehicle to a dealer or shop most likely buy a new remote thenit will need to get programed that's were the shop or dealer comes in

in the meantime try LOCKING THE CAR WITHOUT USING THE REMOTE then unlock with the key the horn should not go off

works on most GM vehicles

2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor rear seat won't recline?

If the rear seat of your 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor is not reclining, there are a few potential causes to consider:
  1. Broken recline mechanism: The recline mechanism, which is located under the seat, may be broken or damaged, preventing the seat from reclining. You can try to manually operate the recline mechanism to see if it is working properly.
  2. Obstruction: There may be an obstruction, such as a foreign object or a piece of debris, preventing the seat from reclining. Check under the seat for any visible obstructions.
  3. Wiring issue: There may be a problem with the wiring or electrical system that is preventing the seat from reclining. Check the wiring under the seat for any visible damage or loose connections.
  4. Fuse issue: The fuse for the seat recline function may be blown, causing the seat to stop working. Check the fuse box in your vehicle to see if the seat recline fuse needs to be replaced.
If you are unable to identify the cause of the problem and the seat is still not reclining, it is recommended to bring your vehicle to a mechanic or a dealership for further diagnosis and repair.

The horn on my 2003 Mitsubishi spyder has stopped blowing. I suspect an electrical problem as, recently, one or both of the horns would work PART of the time. Is this common?

Horns are pretty simple in their operation. I would more suspect a horn relay. I am not very familiar with your vehicle, but usually due to the electrical current used in the horn circuit, most manufacturers run the circuit through a relay. An easy way to eliminate your horn is to simply run a wire directly from your battery and touch on the horn contacts. The horn should sound when you touch the wires onto the horn terminals. Hope this helps.

Electrical problem

You can't always see a bad fuse. You need to use a testlight or an ohmmeter across the fuse.

There can be a large fusible link or inline fuses as well. but unlikely because they are usually for larger things than these minor accessories.

The horn on my 04 mitsubishi endeavor went out and also noticed at the same time the alarm on my lock n unlock remote doesn't work. How do i fix the problem?

Standing out side the car, reach in and push the horn pad. Do you hear a click under the hood?

If not, check your fuse. If the fuse is good, check the relay.

If you do hear the click, your horns have likely failed. You can check for 12 volts with a multimeter or test light on the horn wire when the pad is depressed to verify.
If the relay and fuse check out OK and you still do not have power at the horn wires, your pad may have failed or the wire has come loose from it. This is an airbag component and should not be disassembled without familiarity with airbag systems..

If you do have 12 volts at the wire with the pad depressed, replace your horns.

One horn is located below the drivers headlight.
The other horn is near the firewall on the passenger side.

Electrical windows & door locks not working

Sounds like a possible BCM body controll module has shorted out partially. I think these are only at dealerships.
