Since I have no idea as to the mileage on your vehicle I can only suggest changing the spark plugs, fuel filter and air filter. Also put a bottle of Techron fuel system cleaner in the gas tank and drive it.

Suzuki Grand Vitara 2.5 L poor engine performance, very flat. Good idle, not missing. Could the timing chain be the cause. No codes when scanned.

I would suggest a compression test as an engine with those miles on it will be close to being badly worn
If thee is a chain problem it will not be running

What needs to be checked when my truck has poor acceleration going up a hill? Why does it have no power and then have surges of power

depending on the model of truck , it could be the throttle body that causes poor acceleration ,could be the fuel filter if the engine starves for fuel it will affect the performance , yo should check fuel pressure and volume on the fuel system ,it could also be the eger vavle most newer trucks and cars have linear eager vavles and if the stick a little open on idle they can cause surging ,poor acceleration even missing . if the check engine light is on find out the codes and go from there . on older models it could be the TPS or the IAC v, but i would need to know what codes are in it first . It could be as simple as bad fuel .or a vacuum leak

When I poor water into my Bmw it poors straight to the ground

Assuming the water (hopefully you mean water/anti-freeze coolant mixture) is going into the filler cap hole at the top of the radiator expansion reservoir, there are several possibilities: lower radiator hose not connected, radiator drain plug missing or loose or gasket missing, hole in expansion reservoir or radiator, coolant level sending unit missing or loose or gasket missing.

Bottom of intake has a hole in the bottom of it , would that make it pop in the carb ?

You don't say what year, make, or model of vehicle you are asking about. This makes answering difficult. BUT, there should NEVER be a hole in the bottom of an intake. This will cause a reduction in engine vacuum,. introduce dirt and grit into the engine, and cause poor fuel economy and poor engine performance. Get the intake problem fixed and you are well on your way to a better performing vehicle.

Cortinaengine wont stay runnining missing the breather flex tube

When you say the breather flex tube is missing, I just want to make certain we're discussing the same thing; do you mean the tube that goes from around the exhaust manifold to the air filter intake?
If that's what we're discussing, it's an important part of the ice prevention for the carburetor or throttle body. As the air is drawn past the butterfly valve, the air temperature drops significantly. That's also where the fuel is vaporized, also dropping the temperature.
If the air is humid and already cool as the temperature drops, frost will build up, eventually decreasing the air flow, resulting in poor performance and eventually, when there is enough ice, the engine will die.

Bad miss and poor performance. timing marks are all on and 2 of the spark plugs were fouled. changed them and didn't help performance. compressions checked in at 145psi so I am thinking the coil packs are...

compression was 145psi on the cylinders with the fouled plugs? If so I would have to agree that there is something wrong with spark. Check the plug wires for leakage. One trick to doing that is to start your car at night or in a dark garage and look to see if you can see any spark emitting from the wires. Also check the spark plug boot for imperfections.

I have been told that I need to change the struts and shocks. No visible sign of leaking. Alignment seems fine and drives smooth. Am I missing something?

Parts on cars do not last forever and replacing struts and shocks usually are recommended about every 80,000 miles. They have the job of keeping the tires in contact with the road, and bad shocks can be a safety issue like poor braking performance.

I filled up my 2002 Mazda MPV yesterday at Walmart, Manning

Could be bad gas, water in the gas? Run the tank down to about 1/4 and put gas from somewhere else in it. Maybe higher octane for one tank full. Maybe put an additive in with it. If it clears up, then it was the gas.

#1 Misses Intermittently. Engine Light On.

Check for carbon tracking on plug and wire. Looks like a pencil mark. Replace both at the same time
