In fitting a dash with a rev counter in place of one with out rev counter is there any other wiring needed??escort mk6. new dash is also from a mk 6.

if BOTH are not working.... then it could be the temperature sensor that is screwed into the radiator. You can verify the fans are good (or bad) by putting a ground on the sensor wire (I use a safety pin and push it into the insulation - then touch it to ground.
C A U T I O N: The fans should start immediately - so keep your fingers clear!!!!!!!!!!!!
