Dual filament bulb most likely..... one of the elements in the bulb burnt out. Try replacing the bulb first.

The fastest way is to remove the headlamp assymbly. Remove the three 10mm bolts that hold the lamp assy. then pull the lamp assy from vehicle. be carefull not to break the lamp assy.

Remove the cover by turning it counterclockwise,
after removing the cover you will the light bulb and connector.
remove connector, then press down on retaining clip/clamp (what ever you wanna call it) and that will free the light bulb.

First thing is to unfasten the radiator cover, yes, the whole cover. Then remove the two bolts that hold the headlamp housing, carefully pull out headlamp housing. I just changed my front right low beam headlight today. Took me two hours, reading the kia manual word for word, and a few curse words, but I it is done. Just be careful if you have a halogen light bulb, DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB with your hands or fingers. I suggest you wear gloves or hold it only at the base, or you will have to go get a new one. FIRSTLY ONLY BUY QUALITY BULBS DONOT TOUCH THE GLASS PART OF THE BULB WHEN FITTING THEM. GET THE CHARGING SYSTEM CHECKED IF THE ALTERNATOR OUT PUT IS TOO HIGH THE FIRST THING TO BLOW WILL BE THE HEADLAMP BULB NEXT CHECK THE HEADLAMP IS SECURE AND NOT LOOSE ALSO THE BULB HOLDER IS CLIPPED SECURLEY AS THIS ACTS AS A HEAT SINK FOR THE BULB

Remove the headlight assembly. Just remove the 3 bolts with a 10 mm socket and pull it out so you can disconect the wire harness. After that pull the whole assembly out and unscrew the bulb cover. The bulb is held in with a spring clip.

replace the headlamp bulb. I just had to replace both the headlamp bulbs in an '05 model. Neither low beam was working. You'll have to pull the whole headlamp assembly out, but they tell you exactly how to do it in the owner's manual. Hope this helps.
