Car sputters and check engine light flashes

knocking noise! ( a cry for help, is ping/detonation boom bad)

yes low fuel pressure on any boosted engines, can crack pistons or far far worse.
the check engine lamp is the warning, ! pre, life or post.
that is its job, called stores DTC< diagnostic trouble codes
and we scan it.

Hi, Sounds like a bad coil or a bad spark plug. Also check for codes on computer. (ECU.)

I've seen this before. I replaced the coil pack, spark plugs and wires, just to be safe. I was getting a flashing engine light, common for a pre detonation or post detonation timing issue. I hope this issue clears up for you. Good luck!

2010 Ford SH0 3.5 l shutters and shakes at at between 20 and 30 miles per hour on acceleration. New call packs new spark plugs all new injectors check Engine light on says catalystic failure.???? Any help

engine light flashes usually on fuel related issue...either a bad injector in a cylinder, misfire, spark plug, plug wires..get the code and narrow it down from misfire to lean running etc

check fuel pressure if fuel pressure is low u have either clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump

you have an engine miss, any time the check engine light starts flashing the engine is missing, should be an easy fix sounds like either a bad spark plug or a bad plug wire if you have the codes checked there should be a code telling you what cylinder is missing, but if i were you i would tune up the engine all new plugs and wires and filters......GOOD LUCK

if the check engine flash its to tell you the engine is misfiring and if you continue driving you gonna dammaged the catalytic convertor the sputters is our tune up high tension wire distributor cap rotor and spark plug do that and our problem is solve thank you for using fixya pierre
