SOURCE: 1999 Ford F-250 Super Duty 6.8 liter v10 is

You'll have to drain system down when cooled off, remove any brackets in your way such as power steering reservoir holding bracket, then remove 2 bolts holding the housing, and remove it. Rad hose should be o.k. to leave on, but if it creates a problem, remove it as well. I'd install a new thermostat and "o" ring complete, then a new gasket as well. Clean all surfaces well before re-installing. Replace any bracket(s) you removed to access housing, after housing is installed. Remember, air valve on edge of thermostat goes in 3 oclock position when re-installed. Also a reminder as well, spring on thermostat goes down when re-installed. After all is re-assembled, re-fill coolant and start engine and run with heater on to bleed out all air. Leave rad cap off and pay attention to temperature gauge and when you see it getting to normal operating temperature, watch flow in rad for increased flow, indicating thermostat opened and coolant is circulating properly. Wait until you see that flow increase 2 or 3 times, and air should be out of system, and top up coolant in rad, put cap back on, and check that return bottle is at proper level as well. Keep an eye for any leaks, and re-check return bottle periodically for first little while, just to be sure all is good. Note: some only use the "O" ring as a seal, and no gasket is required, but just check that at autoparts place where you get part.

SOURCE: i need a fuse panel

Here you go. This should be in your owners manual if you have one. If you need one and would like one, you can email me at [email protected] with your make, model, year and what you are looking for and I will be happy to email you a copy. Don't worry it won't cost you anything. This is for the fuse panel located inside the truck. i hope this helps and good luck.

2007 Ford E350 XLT Super Duty. There are 2 cigar lighters. Are they on different fuses?

it is more than likely because cigarette lighters draw high amperage and to have 2 on the one fuse would defeat the purpose of having fuses
check to see that one is not a cigarette lighter but an aux power outlet for phone charger or light etc

My cigar lighter fuse #12 on 2002 F250 (super duty) just started blowing. It just started today. Evrytime I put a new fuse in, it blows. Coincidently, it is raining today. What is the easiest way to find...

Is anything plugged into the lighter? If so take it out. If it still blows, check inside the plug, if it looks ok, disconnect the wires to the lighter socket, the socket may be shorted.

Power Point in 2004 F-250

Look in your manual for the Power Distribution Box reference in Roadside Emergencies. It should be located under the hood on the driver's side. My 2002 Explorer has two power points on the center console and the 20A fuses in the Power Distribution Box for them are number 7 and number 9. They cost $3.99 each at AutoZone. The cigar lighter fuse under the dash is unrelated.
