I don;t know how or what to do in the cemetery it won;t let me do anything

Alternator doesn't have anything to do with starting the car, it supplies power to the system once the engine runs. Does your starter crank the engine? Do you get spark? Is fuel pressure correct?

Which relay are you referring to?

If you don't know, we don't

We guess at most things,

Turn signals on both sides,all four corners?

Did you check fuses?

Did you do anything?

Have a shop check it out?

you dont know where the dimmer is? on the left, on the headlamp switch or a small knob.

you should be able to here if motor is working/or foulded up in there tracks...

fuel filter might be plugged if it turns over if it don't its ur starter if that don't work see if ur fuel pump is working

Don't know why you would ever be at a dealer for anything

that worked for years, now do not,so why go there

& find out where they are

May find a picture,may not

If you know nothing, there is plenty on all
transmissions made for fords for the last 70 years

YOU TUBE is always a good place to go
You can play with that & watch anything

I think you remove the pan to get to them

You don't go changing anything on a wish & hope,
push & poke theory

If you don't know what they do or how to test
them & you won't,go to a trans shop

Now you have what I will call a very RARE time
when you can check for a blown fuse

It won't fix anything,but if it is & blows again
you know one of your window motors is overloading
the entire sytem.
Bad motor or stuck somehow.

Also some vehicles (most) have a
Delay Accy Module that times out after you open
the door. Radio goes off,windows go to sleep etc.

Don't know where that is

To figure out anything at all on a Lincoln LS,because it is
one of Fords most complicated and all electronic vehicles,
(I own One) you need a professional scan tool and the factory
diagnostic manuals or a similiar data base, to do anything at all,
when something doesn't work correctly.

I would NEVER recommend a dealer for any vehicle ever

If you have thousands to spend,your call

That leaves the local repair shops & they don't all care
for Ford Products.
I don't know about the LS & newer Lincolns,but it won't
be a quick fix,as it will be extremely time consumming
just to find the issues at the repair shop you choose

Then your going to get told it is okey or they couldn't find
anything or did do something, that won't last

I could have painted a very positive picture,but I want you
to know todays vehicles are very difficult to diagnose &
mainly there isn't too many mechanics or shops that are
going to do the difficult job of training & self study

You may get a better more technical answer in a couple
days by a tech who know more about the HVAC System
and your issue

I've been messing with the stereo and took the seats out to check the amp. I don't think I disconnected the negative cable on the battery and now the windows won't do anything and the top won't go up or down. What did I screw up?
