I'm trying to install Illuminated Door Sills, but I need to find a source that will allow them to turn on/off when the doors open, but the fuse for the doom has no space to connect; what do you suggest?
You need to splice into the dome light wire. If the power requirements are too much for the dome light circuit, use the dome light wire to activate a relay that powers a new sill light circuit with it's own fuse.

There is a small hook on the right(driver side) of the latch that you can push with a screwdriver (it is hard to see you have to poke around a little)after you take the panel plug out of the rear door cover.I have the same problem I found that that the coil has become week and it does not have enough power to push the lath open. replace the floor shifter. there is a switch on the shifter that allows the key to move. gm has had alot of problems with these shifters.

There is no inside release on the HHR. Simply press in on the rear of the gas fill door and it will "pop" open. Make sure you press it in again when you close it...

There should be a printed list on the inside of the fuse boxes, as well as in the owners manual. There is one box under the hood, and another on the right side of the console near the passenger's feet.

Hello and welcome. the engine reduce power waraning is the key to the other problems. this is normally a problem with the electronic throttle system. the engine control module disables the traction control system when it detects a engine problem, in your case a problem with the electronic throttle system. you shouldnt drive with this concern. this is normally covered under the vehicles 100,000 mile warranty. you need to conteact your nearest dealer for help
