The ford radio has two Aux out puts. one of them being a usb jack. if that is the input you are trying to use plug the device in and use the voice command and ask it to select usb.

I do not own a Galant, but have come across information that some are AUX compatible, some are now. If you hold down the CD button for 3-5 seconds and see the word AUX on the radio display, then it is compatible.

on the r/h side floor area by your right foot if you are sitting in the truck is a side cover. thas where the harnesses are for the hitch. they are hidden behind the cover. you should see a small harness with relays. thats the harness.

you need an AUX cable from radio shake. Does your deck have a port in front or in back?
