The A/C compressor take sup to 10 hp from engine via the pulley system. If the car never has actually stalled from activating the A/C no action should be taken, most newer vehicles has idle compensation sensors that activate when the A/C is turned on if the vehicle stalls bring it to auto zone to check for stored trouble codes the perform the test for free.
