I have very little tech info on this, but it would likely be the switch that is the problem.

Memory is not powered. Check fuses for radio if had is was cut for the last radio check wiring again. If wiring is all complete test at connector for power at the harnes. You should have at least two or three sources of power at harness one for memory one to run the radio and one for the back lighting. You may have more depending on how many options are included.

You may have the 'backup' supply line switched with the ACC/IGN supply line.Backup has permanent 12V supply. ACC line only have 12v after you turn the key to position 1 or ACC.
