SOURCE: bogs down on acceleration

buy 2 fuel filters. buy can of SEAFOAM at parts store. use 1 f filter to replace old one(you'll probably see old looking gas, with an odor).Pour SEAFOAM into tank. fill up with PREMIUM gas. after about 100 miles change out fuel filter 1 last time..add SEAFOAM every 3-5000 miles and you should be fine. the ethanol in the gas turns to goop and adds water to your fuel, and puts carbon on your valves and through out your emission and fuel system. The ethanol will be alright as long as you follow these instructions. and the SEAFOAM will keep you from having line freeze up in the cold months ahead, and will give you better gas mileage. good luck.

SOURCE: Rough Idle/Runs Rough and low power

I would take it in and have them do a diagnostic on it, sounds like the cam shaft sensor to me.

I have a 2003 Saturn Ion 1 and bought the xenon hid 9007/HB5 kit. Hid low beams and halogen high beams no bi-xenon bulbs. The high beams work but lows do not. Neither ballast seems to be getting any power?...

The Saturn ion wasn't meant to have H.I.D.installed in them.
Since you want to install these and blind everyone, check what you grounded the ballast to, you probably don't have them grounded properly.

My 2003 Saturn Ion has an issue where at low speeds, such as stopping at a red light or stop sign, it will shutter like its about to stall. Once I accelerate, it seems to be fine and drive properly u

The coolant light is a bad thing. You need to check the coolant to see if it is low. That would cause the light to come on. IF it is low you could over heat the engine and that would cause a major problem.

Air condition blows hot air but it has freon

You may have created an over charged condition and at this point the a/c compressor will cut off on high head pressures. This can be verified by installing gauges to the systems high and low side service taps and reading the pressures. An overcharged system will start the compressor briefly but soon cuts off once pressure goes to 350 - 400 lbs on the high side. Acceptable pressures for this system should be no greater than 250 high and low suction should drop to 40-50 psi.You might recover the charge and evacuate the system, then try bringing the charge back to proper level.A sight glass in the reciever drier really helps determining proper fill.Once all bubbles have dissipated from the sight glass during charging ,one should stop at that point to avoid overfilling.Too much freon is worse than a low charge especially in hot ambient conditions....
