SOURCE: putting it into drive rpm's dropped to almost

Sounds like you need a tune up,and a throttlebody cleaning.
Use 2+2 carb cleaner to spray your throttlebody until you don't see any black carbon on the throttle plate.

SOURCE: My 2004 outback, if stopped at an intersection,

for some reason you are loosing fluid pressure to the low gear clutch, there are a few things that might cause this most of them are not good, but there is one thing you can do with just a few hand tools, try doing a service and add some transX you might get lucky, we call transX magic fluid in a can. also make sure the transmission is full of fluid. if after trying this there is no change then you are going to have to do what is called a ling pressure test. you do this by installing a pressure gage in the service port on the transmission and and checking the output pressure of the transmission pump. it does take some special tools and a special skill set to go much further. the transmission is pretty complected and i cant recommend trying to dissemble the thing yourself, you could do a lot more damage the good......sorry

let me know if there is any thing else i can do for you.

Have a 1993 ford explore six cyl starts good but put in gear a it stall right away ?

In park or neutral not much load on the engine, when you put it in gear, there is a load. How may miles on the engine? How long since a tune-up? Any applicable trouble codes? Check and clean the idle air system and throttle body, see if it helps? Check cylinder compression. If the compression is way low, it may be tough trying to get it to run correctly.
In the old days, carbed engine, no computer, sometimes we'd set the idle in drive, at least it was driveable, it wouldn't die every time you stopped at a stop sign or red light. Yeah, when you put in park or neutral, the rpms would go high. Sometimes, your just trying to keep it on the road, if possible.

2000 Camry clutch

Check the fluid in your slave cylinder. you have a master cylinder for the brakes and a slave cylinder for the clutch. It should have a screw on lid and if it's full, you probably need a new one.

My 2006 Mercury mariner keeps dying at stop signs.

Do an upper intake clean that will clean the throttle body and the Idle Air Control valve. Also clean the mass air flow sensor

Spongie brakes

Gravity bleeding doesnt usually work real well.

Get a clear jar of some type, and a piece of 1/4 inch vacuum hose about 18 inches long. Put about 2 inches of new brake fluid in the container.

Start at the passenger rear wheel, losen the bleeder, slide the hose tightly over the open bleeder, the other end in the jar where you can see the hose end.
Fill master cylinder reservoir.

Pump brake no more than 4 times, watching the hose end in the jar for bubbles. After 4 pumps, check reservoir, refill. Pump 4 more times. Watch for bubbles. Check reservoir, pump 4 more times. If you see bubbles at any time, then keep going through the above steps until you stop seeing bubbles.

Go to rear wheel, tighten bleeder. Go to driver rear wheel, and do the same thing, although this time it won't take but 4-6 pumps to purge any air.

Go to passenger front, repeat.
Go to driver front, repeat.

Do not recycle any of the fluid.
