Back to basics, then. It probably lost spark or fuel to the engine. Take the big air boot off and spray some carb cleaner inside the intake, then try to start it. If it coughs and sputters, and tries to start and run, then you know it was a gas problem. Test your fuel pressure to see if the fuel pump is at fault.
If the carb cleaner (or starting fluid-be careful not to use too much-start fluid is kind of ******* engines) had no effect, then you need to test for spark at one of the spark plug wires. If no spark, the ignition system is at fault.
