1997 miata. Need bulb type for check engine indicator

check the viscosity of the oil you are using and move up to 30w -50 for the ambient temperature
Mazda engines use a shaft to support the rocker arms and these are prone to wearing out on the under side of the rockers
I would suggest that you have an accredited service shop with experience on you car to check the play in the rocker arms / bushes and shaftys.

Get some MAF cleaner & clean the Mass Air Flow sensor in the intake

Sounds like the starter relay or the solenoid is on the start itself is badSome of the MX-5 also had a fuse for the ignition, check that also.

P0300 - random cylinder misfire detected

Check spark plug wire's and plug's and ignition coil. tune up should take care of it.

Have computer diag. done on your car, computer pick up a bad signal from one of your engine sensor, have it check out asap.

usually its the bulb burnt out but once you put a new one in you may find it does not go off which would indicate that you have an issue which needs further diagnosing. If the light stays on you need to check for codes

Stop in at one of the major autoparts stores & they will scan for codes free, and then you have some direction to go.

try checking for other fuses, replace them with the same ampacity. With the radio, radio and light are on the same fuse i believe the lights for the radio are bad. If fuses are okay maybe the light bulb for the low fuel indicator has blown the light bulb can be replaced.

possibly a bad module------cracked---or???? In any case you may get expansion as engine compartment warms up----module shuts you down. Sometimes really hard to diagnose and just putting in a new module is "spendy"----especially if it turns out not to solve the problem!

Same as the VIN otherwise it is on a plate riveted to the passenger side of the oil pan.

If are you talking about the Engine Model number it is a BP-14
