SOURCE: Only cold air on passenger side
I would first check and make sure that you have enough Freon in the system, on climate control dual systems only one side will put out cold air if the system is low on Freon. Eventually, both sides will put out warm/hot air if the system continues to loose Freon. As with all leaks the system should be checked and then the leak causing component replaced/repaired.

Can someone who has had the problem , provide the solution? I want to thank you in advance if you have the answer.

The actuator door on the driver's side is out of position and needs to be reset. Remove the negative battery cable for 1/2 hour to reset the computer. Start the HVAC system and you should be able to hear the door adjusting itself and cold should come out of the driver's side vent.

The vent actuator my need to be reset, this can be done by removing the HVAC fuse from the fuse panel for 5 min or disconnecting the battery. If the vent actuator does not correct it self, then it's most like going to have to be replace due to internal parts have broke in the actuator.
Thank you for using fixya and it's common for the vent actuators to go bad after a few years, the internal parts are made of plastic and get brittle after time.

The selector doors are the problem. There are doors in almost all air systems on almost all vehicles that are either electronically controlled or vacuum controlled. These doors can wear out, break, servo motors go bad, there are a number of issues that control the doors but usually its the cheap plastic shaft on the door that strips out and no longer works. Blower motors are rarely to blame. Although these doors are simple in construction and can be easy to fix, getting to them is a whole other issue. You have to tear your whole dash and air box apart. Not fun, but its gotta be done.
