SOURCE: heated seats 1999 lincoln navigator

the fuse is #110, it is in the power distribution box under the hood, it also runs the moon roof, so if the moon roof works the fuse is good, if this is the case the heated seat switch is the likely cause and by far the most common..

SOURCE: driver's side front seat won't move

It is likely the gear on the motor came off track with the seat. The seat will have to be removed and bottom panel disassembled.

SOURCE: my driver side seat is

Both of the front seat heaters run off of the same 2 fuses, so the problem is not a fuse if the passenger seat is working. Each seat has a separate electronic control module, so a bad driver's seat module could be the problem. The seatalso has 2 elements - onefor the seat cushion and one for the seat back. If one is heating and the other is not, then the problem is probably a failed element. If neither element is heating, then the moduleis most likely at fault. The modules in the seats are controlled by the Body Control module (BCM), so the problem could also be a fault in the class2 data circuit between the BCM and the driver's seat module.

In any case, a scan of your BCM will probably yield a fault code that will lead you in the right direction.

I have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator and the driver seat do not move at all along with both rear view mirrors

Nichelle,

You will need to check your fuse panels (one may be internal to vehicle and one under hood) for any blown fuses.

Why did my driver seat stop working? When I try to adjust my seat, I hear a click but nothing happens. I have a 2006 Lincoln Navigator. Can you help me fix my problem?

Sounds like the clicking sound is a 'stripped' gear in the seat adjustment area. You will have to take the seat out and look at the gears....might be able to fix or you might have to go to junk yard and get another one.

locate the fuse box under driver side instrument panel, use a test light hook clip to ground and probe each side of each fuse test light should light when you touch or probe top both side of fuse test light should light.if one side dont light fuse blowed both sides light fuse good.also use test light see if power at the switch if yes problem in the seat motor lower mechanism.

Broken trim on driver seat 2010 navigator

I used zip ties to tighten it back down on my 2006 navigator. Sounds like same flaw in manufacturing covers many year models. The zip ties( large ones) helped for a long time but I'm still looking for better longer term fix myself.

Driver's seat not moving 2006 Navigator

Most seats have more than one motor anymore depending on the features, if it raises/lowers but will not go forward/backward or will only go in one direction (moves forward but not back) its likely you have a faulty motor. If nothing is working check your fuses first then check the switch.
