On Ford Focus 2005 an organe light keeps coming on and flashing , it looks like a helicopter. The plugs were wet and my mechnic dried them out but it has happened again. Is there anything I can do to solve this problem for good. When this happens there the car is very sluggish in first couple of gears.
HI, this flashing check engine light is signaling a serious miss in one or, more of the cylinders in your engine.
You will need to check the wires and, spark plugs once more for faults. Also, check the ICM and, coils. make sure the coils are firing in the correct order.
A more serious and, uncommon issue will be a faulty PCM if the ICM is not used in this particular model.
**Have all sensors checked as well and, have a diagnostic scan ran on the CPU asap.
