My best gues.
this is a function called "coming home"
In the menu you can set how long you want the lightning to be on ;) call local dealer ship or read manual to see how to enter the menu

Intermittently, an interior "alarm" goes off on my 2004 ford freestar and stays on for longer than 30 minutes no matter what we do. how do we turn it off? this is not the anti-theft alarm. this is a solid...

this is in fact, part of your factory alarm... called PATS (passive anti theft system)

The actual "horn" should be coming from the rear right side of the cabin or behind the dash

This horn is built into the "computer" and there is little you can do at this point other than going to the dealer.

The dealer should be able to reprogram the modules in question to eliminate the "horn"

A 2007 Ford Freestar, Autolamp exit delay does not stay off

lighting control module if it has one.

Your car has a battery saver feature that shuts off interior lights if left on for over 30 minutes.
