I have a 2004 ford freestar after I turn the car off the headlight and interior light come on for about 30 seconds. Tired a few options is there any fix for this is it the alarm or the lighting module
Cleaned sliding door connections even tried to lock the car without using the remote.this works for a short period of time
Re: I have a 2004 ford freestar after I turn the car off...
My best gues. this is a function called "coming home" In the menu you can set how long you want the lightning to be on ;) call local dealer ship or read manual to see how to enter the menu

does the car turn over still?? if not id say you need to replace the alternator and the battery, that will take care of your prob... but if it still turns over your problem is something totally different.. need clarification if vehicle still turns over.. hope this helps
TRY THIS IN A GARAGE OR AT NIGHT..WITH THE INTERIOR LIGHTS ON..IF YOU PUSH THE SWITCH AND THE LIGHTS DIM IT IS THE REGULATOR..BECAUSE THE POWER IS GETTING DELIVERED..IF YOU PUSH THE SWITCH AND THE LIGHTS DONT DIM IT IS THE SWITCH ..DOUBLE CHECK ME ON THAT ..BUT THAT SHOULD BE CORRECT....
