I am presuming it didn't missfire before the tune-up?
You could have damaged/cracked a plug installing them (the gap was checked?)
You may not have a plug wire securely on or mixed up the arrangement/firing order.
If it misfired before and that was why you were doing the tune up - then it is highly likely an injector is malfunctioning.
If this doesn't help - please give us the: Year, Make, Model & Engine - will help with any further assistance.

How is a tune up for a 93 lexus es300

replace spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, ignition rotor, air filter, oil change, transmission flush, transmission filter&gasket .. That should do it.. It'lI be good if you could check your timing as well.. do this tune up every 15-20 thousand miles and oil changed every 3000 miles, depend on how much you drive it.

96 lexus es 300 blinking check engine light

Hi there;

#4 Miss-fire. All the things you are saying make a lot of sense. When the light is blinking the cylinder is actualy misfiring, & the smell you are smelling is the fuel that is not burning in the engine burning in the exahst. This can cause a lot of damage to the exausht if it is not repaired..
There is still a couple of things that need to be checked, first he needs to check to see if it is possibly a fuel injector that is sticking. He can do this easily by moving the #4 injector to another cylinder & run the car. When it starts missfiring he will need to see if it is still #4 or if it is the cylinder that he moved the injector to. if it is the new cylinder it is obviously the injector, if it is still #4 he will need to look into the possibility of the EGR valve sticking open or some other issue to do with valve timing or low compression.
I hope this helps

My 93 Lexus ES 300 has miss while idling.

the ignition coil is very easy to replace it would be located on the side of the car chasis next to the engine and would have one cable coming from it with a couple of wires leading to it that would affect the acceleration to a certain degree
