p1744 is a transmission code This code is for the torque converter clutch. the computer commanded the circuit on and did not see a rpm change.

REBUILD TRANS, NEW TORQUE CONVERTER

Remove trany and torque converter, tip converter to drain or drain trany fluid, fill drive and drain trany fluid again, fill again, drive away

That would be the sensor on drivers side closest to front of vehicle or in front of catalytic converter.Hope this helps!!
