I have a 1990 acura legend an my gas guage wont work along with 3 of my automatic windows wont go up or down whats the problems

Most likely, both problems are not related. Check the fuse box in the car and in the engine compartment, look for blown fuses. The windows are probably the switches, especially if they are on the drivers door. It's odd that just one window works, so that's the place to look. Check the wiring from the switches back to the connector. If you know how to use a volt meter, check each window that isn't working has power to the switch, if it does, check the power going to each window motor, if you have power to the motor when you actuate the switch, then the motor is bad. AND, yes, you can have 3 window motors go bad at the same time, especially if the car has been in water, or you had a serious voltage overload in that circuit. As far as the gas gauge, check for a blown fuse, power to the gauge itself and then, power to the connector that comes off the gas tank. It can only be the gauge itself, a broken wire, or the gas tank sender, good luck!

The drivers window won't go up and down

If its electric.. check for fuses blown? Automatic window motor atleast making noises?? If fuse isnt blown or window motor doesnt make noise it could be broken wire inside the door.if the motor makes noise (clicking noises with no movement) could need replacement. The window might have slipped out of the guides..check owners manual for fuse location.."haynes manuals" sells some good books on how to replace parts on automotives. U will find detailed info there.they can also be found online or for sale in Canadian tire or places like that.

The windows on the back of taurus ford 93 don't work why?

This could be caused by a blown fuse, a faulty window switch, a faulty window motor regulator, or a faulty window motor. Start by checking your fuses inside the cabin of the vehicle for any blown fuses. Next, check the voltage going to the motor when the switch is pushed up or down. If there is no voltage getting to the motor, you have a bad switch or regulator. If voltage is getting to the motor, you have a bad motor.

1997 Ford Expedition : Drivers side window won't come down< other three are fine . When i depress the window switch i can here a clicking noise coming from the fusebox below the steering wheel . Do...

You wouldn't have a blown fuse if you can hear the relay

Have you not checked the fuses before asking a question?

Relays don't fail a lot & you hear what may be a relay,
although maybe not for the window circuit.

How would someone one the internet know what your
problem was, without at least being next to your truck?

I would say you have a bad switch,as that is what is used
the most. If not then the motor or a jammed window regulator.

1996 Toyota Camry DX .. The rear and passenger side windows don't work. It's obviously not the fuse, since the fuse is for every window.. Its not a motor, since that would be three motors blown at one...

Well seems you are on the right track, a common element but not the fuse. I would take the master window switch and the rear window disabling switch out and see if you cannot disassemble them to check for a breakdown in the conducting metal strips or the connector plugs. Some of them can be taken apart and the "points" cleaned with emery boards and erasers. Tough to find a new part for a car that old.

Drivers Power seat will not move and passengers window and both back windows will not operate. Happened at the same time. This is a 2002 XGL350.

Most likely it is one motor that has onerloaded - and blown a fuse that handles all of these motors.
Check your fusebox and replace the blown fuse - then check operation of each window motor - then the seat last.
One of them will probably blow the fuse again, so when you find it - investigate for a siezed motor or replace it.

Window stop working

the clicking u can hear is the relay for the window clicking, so i would say thats working, but u can also check with a multi meter, could also be the motor for the window, check all your fuses as it could be that also if its blown a fuse there is ur answer. and clean the window switch.

Automatic windows stopped working

try replacing the fuses, if it is not the fuse, then you need new window motors, because they are blown.

Possible window fuse blown?

if the fuse is blown none of the windows will work,it sound wierd but all the power to the window motors runs through the drivers side switch. the drivers side switch may be your culprit.to be sure check to see if you have power goin in to the other switches before you replace the drivers side switch.
