SOURCE: 1999 Dodge Dakota AC no longer blowing cold. And

You may want to have the AC cleaned out.  This involves removing the evaporator and cleaning it inside out.  While you have it out, have the vents check if you have the "door" that lets the outside air in if it is working,  Just to be sure that the dust did not come from the outside.  You may also want the AC freon checked out.

SOURCE: I have an

Sounds like a valve lifter bleeding down and then picking back up. It sounds strange but change the oil with 5-20W Mobile 1 synthetic and it will usually flush any trash out of the lifter and shut it up.

SOURCE: ticking noises only when you start then goes away

Depended on the mileage and if the truck has been worked hard. It could be a few things, A worn out hydraulic lifter, a worn crank bearing, old engine oil that needs to be changed, or maybe a tired oil pump. Try using a stethoscope to narrow down where the ticking noise is loudest. From there you will have a better idea what the cause is. Take a look at the oil pressure, see if it takes to long in the morning for the oil pressure to start building. Every time you look at something different it will help bring you that much closer to the solution.

Hi I turn the heat on in my 06 dodge magnum I hear a ticking noise then goes away now no ticking noise and no heat

Could be your blend door getting stuck thats making that ticking noise. Check your heater hoses to make sure they are getting hot. Check with caution theu may be very hot.

What is the noise when acceleratingin my 06 dodge dakota

If the noise is from the engine it may be a ignition nock ,timing advanced to far, a blown exhaust will make a noise all the time but louder on accelerating . a worn big end bearing will make a dull thud.

You need to try this-the poor man's mechanics stethescope.I take a REALLY long skinny screwdriver, put the end of the handle in my ear,and touch the tip to various places while the engine is running. This will help narrow down where noises are coming from.

01 dodge dakota magnum v8 seems to have knocking sound coming from centre of engine, when rpm is increased, noise gets louder, what could this be.

If it's cold you could have what they call pistion slap and most of the time the noise goes away when things are at there opperating temprature. If your only get it when your accelerating and the motor is hot, it's eather your timing chain is stretch and time for a new one and worst it could be your rod pin's are worn. Try adding some lucas oil and see if that help's. If it does then it's just a worn engine and just need not to push it too hard. good luck

Ticking and rattling

Is it a 3.9? Does it sound like it is coming from the front of the engine(timing chain)? From the factory the 3.9 didn't come with a timing chain tensioner. They are available after market.
