First of all do you have full bright head lamps? If so then it might not be the battey. I would look at the igniton switch startervv relay or the starter. But before that chack all your connection and make sure they are tight.

SOURCE: car wont start...sometimes

Sounds like a bad starter solenoid, usually cheapest and easiest to replace the starter and solenoid as a unit. It is always best to check for power between the solenoid and the starter with a test light, if the solenoid clicks but the test light doesn't light up you have found the problem in the solenoid.

If original battery (2003), the battery was on borrowed time. It gave you a two week warning grace period to replace it, so don't lament. If it's the second battery, which is most probable, it still owes you nothing. They only last five years tops if you're lucky.
Wal-Mart as best deals on batteries and they'll do it free while you do your grocery shopping at one of their super centers. Also their batteries are top rated by CR.

My 2000 Ford ranger wont start My 4x4 lights started flashing so I pulled and checked the fuses but all were good Then went to start the truck and all I hear is the relay click one time as I turn the key...

Suggest you look at battery 1st Remove Earth cable normally + sign, check the cable connection to the battery is clean inside & wire brush the battery where the cable fits see if that is your problem, only other thing is the battery no longer holding it's charge IE: you may need new battery. Best Wishes, Malcolm Campbell.

Having trouble sttaring cold takes many attempts

white smoke points to a head gasket issue, If your coolant is low and smells and looks weird then get the car tested to be sure.

Most of the time, car starts easily and runs well. Some of time, car starts - then stalls. Some times, car does not start and second attempt the clicking noise as if the battery were almost dead. New...

This sounds like you may be fighting more than one problem at a time.
First, I would replace the main relay (often located near the fuse panel under the dash).
Next, I would check all battery connections and even though the battery is relatively new, you probably should have it load tested.

2000 Toyota Corolla wont start Changed 02 sensor disconnected bat

I had the same problem, i had to remove the whole alarm system to get my car to start, when you unattatch the battery cables, the alarm notices the battery drain and sets the alarm off, i have no idea how much the dealership would charge for a new remote, but im sure its pricey, i would recommend just removing the alarm system, temporarily, until you can get a new remote. Good luck and god bless

Wont start

check all wires running from the batt to the starter motor. if the wires are tight and fitting quite well, its the starter itself. remove it and test for voltage and motor function at your local auto parts shop.
