Now its not a 1988 but a 1091 olds, and not a Dakota.
im totally gobsmacked. what is it, below is Dakota answer
if it is an Olds what model car , what engine?

ok , the posts come out of order, i answered your first post
with a question, and he it is the memory fuse.
what engine?
2.2 L (134 cu in) K I4
2.5 L (150 cu in) K I4
2.5 L (150 cu in) AMC I4
3.9 L (238 cu in) LA/Magnum V6
5.2 L (318 cu in) LA/Magnum V8

the 2.5 ECU memory pin as pin A41 red wire
and goes to the battery via the main FUSE LINK.
i looked at the schematic for the other engine, same link.......
id bet dollars to donuts its not bad.
there are 3 links, one for Altenator, (is it dead) one for A/C and heater blower, is it dead, and one to drive the input to the ignition swich
the ignition goes dead, if that red wire is dead.
so is A41, not at 12v at all times.

my guess, is you posted to Dodge forum ,why do that?
post to OLDS. with engine size and correct year and model OLDS>
there are 10 Oldsmobile models, name just 1.
like Delta 88?

Where is the fuse for the windshield wipers on a 1999 Saturn SL?

It is located on the fuse panel on the Passenger side.
Look for the removable panel that is located below the radio/center bezel on the right side (passenger side). It's not part of the center shifter console, but just forward of it. Remove the panel marked "Fuses"! You will find the Wiper Fuse in this panel along with the fuses for the Radio, Accessory Power Plug/Lighter, Power Door Lock & Window Relays, Fuel Pump Relay, Cruise Control fuse, exc......
Hope this info helps!

I have not been around to drive my 1999 lincoln towncar and now i am and the radio doesn't work anymore does it run from a fuse? and where is it located?

  • The fuse panel is located below and to the left of the steering wheel by the brake pedal. Check the fuses I have indicated in the diagram below as they all are connected to the radio in some way or another.

  • 18 - 7.5 Amp - Lighting Control Module (LCM), Front Radio Control Unit, Cellular Telephone Transceiver, Electronic Day/Night Mirror, Compass Module
  • 24 - 5 Amp Front Radio Control Unit
  • 33 -15 Amp - Front Radio Control Unit, Digital Compact Disk Changer, Cellular Telephone Transceiver.

  • The power distribution box is located in the engine compartment. Check the #19 - 30 Amp in there as well. This powers the Subwoofer and I suspect the amp as well.

Where are the fuses to the radio

There are 2 fuses that control the radio. Fuse #8, 10 amp, which is located in the "Intelligent Power Module" located in the engine compartment left side. This fuse is fed off the battery and is hot all the time. This one controls the radio memory and settings.

The other is Fuse #5, 20 amp, also located in the Intelligent power module. This fuse is fed from the Ignition switch and should be hot when the key is on.

Look for a box with a plastic cover on the left side of the engine compartment. This is the "Intelligent Power Module" box
