VSC off My VSC light came on the other night after I ran out of gas. I have checked the air filter (fine) and the gas cap (tight) and hoses (okay), how can I reset it?

Apparently you have not checked for codes
or googled VSC to know what it is

Get your codes, google them, then start all over
& have a shop work on that system & find the fault,
the reason the light came on & make the repairs

My toyota Highlander is showing CHECK VSC light

First check and make sure your gas cap is tight, if this does not resolve the problem read below.A vacuum hose has become disconnected, more than likely due to having your air filter replaced. The VSC and Check engine light typically don't come on until after 150-200 miles after the vacuum hose was pulled out The fix: on the right-hand-side of the engine compartment behind the big plastic housing that holds the air filter you will find a black rubber hose that is not connected to anything. Squeeze the finger clamp on the hose and slide the hose back onto the half inch nipple on the back of the air filter's plastic housing In order for the VSC and Check engine light to be turned off, you will need to open the fuse box, right-side of the engine compartment, and pull the 20 amp EFI fuse for 10 seconds. This will reset the system. The fuse location is marked on the lid of the fuse box, also I believe the EFI fuse is the only 20 amp fuse.(and after you're sure nothing is really wrong with your car), try resetting the "maintenance required" display by setting first your ODO display to the ODO setting. Turn off your engine. While pressing and holding down the ODO button, turn your key to the ON position. The display will do this weird blinking action then it'll go back the ODO reading. No more "maintenance required" display.

The vsc light comes on with the check engine light and the traction control image. Car runs good and the gas cap is tight.

You need to take it to Autozone and have it ran for test. There is something wrong. They will scan it for free.

The vsc light is on

The VSC light.VSC stands for "Vehicle Stability Control". disconnect the negative battery terminal for few minutes then reconnect it again then check out if the VSC light is still coming On. ------------ But if this does not help you to solve the problem then this "VSC light On" problem is related to loose vacuum hose.Properly check the air filter the vacuum hose thats behind the air box ,if this vacuum hose is loose then you will get the VSC light. -------------- Also check the gas cap,if the gas cap gets loose then this can cause the problem. ----------- but if all this possibilities checked ok and still the VSc light stays on,then this problem has to be checked by retrieving codes at diagnosis center. You can get your car scanned at www.autozone.com.Its absolutely free to get car scanned at auto zone service center.Once the error codes are retrieved the exact faulty part can be replaced as per the codes. ---------------] Keep updated for any more queries.Thanks.

VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF and CHECk ENGINE lights

You have to know what code is stored to fix the problem. Toyota's will generally display a Check Engine light, VSC and TRAC light all at the same time, even if it's a simple problem with an oxygen sensor (for example). You can disconnect the negative battery cable for a few minutes, even though you should a scan tool should be used, to clear out the code.

Toyota 2001 4 runner vsc lights on and trac off.also check engine light on.what is the problem?

Those lights always come on whenever the check engine light is on.It could be from the gas cap not being tight enough or an air hose in the engine compartment coming loose. I recommend bringing your vehicle to someone that can read the codes and reset the lights for you. The codes will narrow down what the problem really is.

2002 kia rio rxv check engine light came on again..

the check engine light is not caused by any wrong fluid level or dirty air filter or anything else like that, it is caused by well over 100 faults that can occur in the computer controlled electronic engine and emission controls, u will need to go to a Kragen or Autozone parts store and get a free OBD 2 fault code test to get the code that set your light.
