after replacing the car battery you have to reset the computer in the porsche. what happens is after battery is dead it shuts off the computers, and thats why you get that message

Before you got down the street two houses, the light would

Hello. There are two ways to turn it off. The recommended way is to have the car's computer scanned and reset. When it is reset, the light will go off. The other way is to disconnect the battery for two minutes. When the battery is reconnected, the light will be off. Joe
The easiest way to reset service light on any car is to unplug negative (black) cable from battery for 2-3 minutes. If the problem is fixed, the light will be off upon cranking car again. Hope this helps. Please leave feedback.
