My personal suggestion would be to go for these repair catalogs.
I know this website reliable-store that i used to buy them from, and they sold online it was very good manual. Go ahead, I bet.
or try manualslife
both are good websites for repairing etc

SOURCE: 2001 mb clk 320, my ignition switch will not turn.

Hi there
I had something similar on my merc
but yours sounds similar.
the fact that you say the steering lock no longer works is very worrying, most times the key not going past position 1 is due to the steering lock being actuated and the pressure in it has to be released before the key will turn, you will have to go from lock to lock the find where the steering lock actuates when this happens follow my wiggle method of turning the steering wheel slightly when the steering lock is on the disengage it. ie keep trying the key whilst wiggeling the steering wheel.
hope that helps

Why is my key just turning around in my drivers door on my vivaro van, and its locked , so cant get in.

It's possible that the locking mechanism in your Vivaro van's driver's door has become jammed or broken, causing your key to turn without unlocking the door. Here are a few things you can try to get your door unlocked:
  1. Try another key: If you have a spare key, try using it to unlock the door. If the spare key also doesn't work, then it's likely a problem with the locking mechanism.
  2. Spray lubricant into the lock: Sometimes, the locking mechanism can become jammed due to dirt or debris. Try spraying a lubricant such as WD-40 or graphite powder into the lock and then gently turning the key to see if this helps.
  3. Use a lock de-icer: If the weather is cold, the lock may be frozen. Try using a lock de-icer to thaw the lock before attempting to turn the key.
  4. Call a locksmith: If none of the above methods work, it's best to call a locksmith or a professional mechanic to help you gain access to your van.
In any case, it's important to get the issue fixed as soon as possible to avoid being locked out of your van again in the future.

Vito ignition won't turn to start engine

Hi, if you put your key in to the ignition and the dash lights up and when you turn it to crank and nothing happens , well it can be a couple of things , i would need to know more of the symptoms , but if that is happening and you keep turning the key on and off and eventually it fires up , it is the ecu that has gone bad im afraid ,unless you are loaded with cash you wont mind the mb bill for parts and labour , the best solution is get a second hand one from a van dismanteler , i would recommond dronesfields in manchester excellent alround , the look out for a good indie and have him take the dump file that is on the old ecu and keep it on file so when you get the replacment ecu he will be able to load the file onto it .
hope this is of help to you ,
cheers Joe.

Key fob will not connect with ignition on Mercedes Vito 115 2008

More likely than not, you have the famous broken solder joint(s) at the coil inside the FOB...if that is fine and all solder joints look fine , then you had best get MB, or a good Mercedes Independant garage, to check the EIS and make sure it sees the key

How do i program my ford key fob 2 my transit van

1 - Unlock the doors. Put the key in the ignition, and turn from "Off" to "ACC" 8 (eight) times in under 10 seconds. The doors will lock. Leave key in the "ON" position

2 - Program the fobs by pressing any key on the fob. The doors locks will lock/unlock

3 -- Turn the key to Off. Locks will lock/unlock, and you are out of programming mode.

I bought new remote Key Fob on Ebay and it did work properly on my Ford Transit LWB 2003. Good Luck!

Ignition locked will not turn

easiest way to handle this problem is as you turn the key turn the steering wheel back and forth not real hard bust firm and try and turn the key foward and back at the same time. usually what happens is the little detente inside the column gets stuck just right and stops the tumbler from moving
