How to take out stock air intake for a saab 9000 turbo

I have a 1992 Saab 9000 and i put a cold air intake in it. all i did was removes the tubing that goes to the air filter on the lower DRIVERS side not passengers side. I ended up leaving the stock filter in the car but not hooked up because I couldn't figure out how to remove it all

Depends if yours has the flat panal filter or the round type both can be changed for a k&n performance filter wear you never ever replace it again only clean and re-oil at every service
the round type is on the front lower side pass side 3 spring back clips hold the front cover on
the panal filter is squire and has 3 or 4 spring back clips just lift the lid and change
