Check owners manual. There maybe options for shutting off and turning on the beep using the remote. A sequence of button pushes on the remote for Honda as well.

2007 Sonata car alarm(security alarm) randomly goes off--it's happened when it's locked and unlocked and all times of the day. The Keyfob stopped working about 3 weeks ago and then randomly worked now and...

over sensitive sensor in the car could set it off randomly... bonnet boot, door handles.. one of the motion sensor thingiis, if fitted. the beeper issue could be the position of the incoming sensor of the alarm it self.. if it is an imboliser as well then there is whole other range of issue.. turn it off or at least disconnect the siren.. or you could just pay some one way too money to fix the problem for ya... good luck

2007 gmc yukon denali wont unlock w/ keyfob

Check the buttons.. I have an 06 Grand Prix with the Remote starter on the top and it seems that the conductor on the buttons worn out.. Take the keyfob apart, pull the rubber buttons off the chip, lick your finger and touch the place where the unlock (right side of the fob) would be. That should unlock your doors. I just did it with mine. I would just buy another fob on ebay and change the buttons out.. Hope this works

My 2003 Hyundai Sonata Door locks will not lock using

I have exactly the same problem. Keyfob will unlock the doors, but will only arm the alarm once the doors have been locked manually. Central locking button on driver side door no longer works, but I hear the clicking sound you're referring to.
I took it to a mechanic, and he seemed pretty sure it was a bad master window / door lock switch. The price he quoted to replace it was $255 plus tax, and I could never bite the bullet and pay for the work, so I've just been living with the problem.
Have you solved your situation yet?

Disarm alarm on a 2004 sonata

If you use your keyfob to lock the doors, it will activate the alarm, and you will need to unlock with the keyfob. If you lock the doors with the lock button on the inside of the door, it should not activate the alarm.

the car is front wheel drive so you may have a brake problem. maybe a loose brake caliper or pads.
