Same thing happen to mine, found out that it was the gas cap causing my problem. It was either air locked or sensor, but when I took the cap off and put it back on with at least 3 turns, never had the problem again. Hope this helps!

Engine sputters and hiccups when driving

Sounds like you have a cylinder misfire. Is check engine light on ?, Have you had the vehicle somewhere to get a code scan? My assumption is that you have an ignition problem that is causing the rough idle and jerk feeling while driving.
Take the vehicle to a shop and have them diagnose the driveability problem that you are having.

Honda stalls going from idle to driving

I recommend doing a leak down test. It could be valves or blow by. Also try cleaning the idle air control valve (IAC-V), the exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR), and fast idle valve (if it has one).

I have a 1996 Isuzu Hombre. Sometimes it won't start and just turn over. It also dies sometimes while driving or just idleing at stop sign. When this happens there is a clicking and buzzing sound

Sounds to me like a bad battery, however the alternator could be bad as well if it's not charging the battery enough to allow for amperage to crank. Auto Parts Forum

Rpm does not drop below 1000

No,only on carburated engines it,idles down to the set point,on yours,it's fuel injected, pushing gas pedal won't kick idle down, should go down after a certain amount of time, does it automatically,If you start and drive a 5 mile ride and stop at a stop sign,it should idle at it's set point if there's no engine problems, which may be.5 to .7 on your tac. When you normally first start,it will idle between 1000 to 1200 rpm's,don't push on gas,let idle say 15 seconds, put in drive and go.

(1995) Often my car dies at stop signs. . . Nothing real weird happens. The rpm just drops and it dies.it has other issues though that I think are related. It also hesitates when to Drive the first time I...

The idle is set too low, the alternator is not charging enough, poor battery connection, filthy throttle body, dirty air filter are some of the most common causes of stalling at lower rpms.

2003 Ford Focus will not idle

try cleaning the MAF Mass Air Flow sensor element wire in tube with a toohtbrush and carb cleaner carefully. It gets coated with a film. It is in air inlet hose and has a wiring connector on it. Then drive for 15 minutes so it can learn the clean MAF sensor. Is check engine light on?

Removal
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe.

Hiccuping while excelerating

Sounds like a failing MAP/MAF Sensor....manifold absolute pressure sensor or mass air flow sensor. Do you happen to have a check engine light on?
