Take another cd and push the stuck one all the way back then try and eject it. If it doesn't come out right away do the process again this time when you hit eject take another cd and push down or up on it. Wiggle it around so it catches the rollers in there. Using CDs with homemade labels causes jams when the stickers peel up.

I have a 2005 Ford 500. I have twoo CD"S stuck in the player. How do I remove them?

If the two cd's which are stuck, if you can see that cd's then pull the cd with pliers. Its a two mouth pliers to pull the things out.The cd may get cracked/ break while removing. But if the cd's are not seen or its very hard stuck, then in that case. The cd player has to be removed out of dash.Yes it will be time consuming, and will not be very simple. But once the player is out, its not much to do.The cd player bottom has few screws to be removed.Once you remove the screws, the complete top assembly will get lifted. You can say" complete casing" will be lifted.Once the casing is out.You will visually see the cd, and you can manually slide the cd out and remove it.---------- ---------- Click this link for cd player removing procedure from dash :--------- http://whoisbyme.blogspot.com/2011/08/how-to-remove-cd-player-from-dash-of.html ----------- This will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

Hi I have a 6 cd player (ford freestar 2005 SEL) , and it doesn't accept any cd and won't reject one inside . Any suggestions ?

you can remove and take of back to remove cd inside, but wouldn't recommend, they are considered to be sealed units. The only supported way to do is take to the dealership parts department and they can send out to their supplier to be repaired..not what you wanted to hear, but even if you would like to replace with a used one, they have an internal module called ACM, this information will have to be uploaded and then downloaded to new internal ACMin the new radio

sorry, but that is the new technology at its best, limiting what people can do on their own

Good luck

I have a 2005 Ford Focus-the cd player-which is only has 1 cd slot, will not eject the cd that is in it-it starts clicking and then I get an error message saying there is no cd in there. How do I get the...

First try this, use a old cd,press and hold eject, try to insert gently under stuck cd
DO NOT PUSH FULLY IN,just lift stuck cd slightly
Keep trying this usually clicks release micro switch and works on all single cd players
If this does not work you could remove unit, and get your local auto electrician to check it out
Go to fitaudio.com for removal details, which is quite easy to remove

My cd player in my 2005 focus will not release the cd that has been stuck for almost two years but will continue to play....what do I do?

If you want to limit your CD choices to one, do nothing. If this player did it once it will do it again so I recommend that you replace it. There are possibilities for removing the CD but in the end you will just get another CD stuck.

My Ford freestar cd will not eject the cd inside of it.

I just had SAMs Club install a new battery and my CD player is not working. The radio is find.. CD reads "Check Player" The Ford dealer wants $150 just to diagnose the problem. Would unhooking the battery and rehooking it straighten this out too?

I have a '05 Ford Fusion and it has a CD stuck in the CD player. How do I remove the player from the dashboard or is there a simpler solution to removing the trapped disc.(It still plays but won't eject)

Not sure of the manufacturer - but most have a small pin hole near the CD insert slot - inserting a straightened paper clip into that hole a few times will often eject the CD. Good Luck - and let us know ....

2004 freestar can't turn the radio up or down it

I would question your children " if you have any" if they have put anything in the cd slot, I work at a dealership and we find a lot of problems with the van radios are very nice children like to play and put small change into the cd slot, which shorts out the internal components of the radio, if you remove the radio, dash piece just pops off then 4 screws hold radio in, and shake it you should not hear anything rattling around in it.
