Question about 1986 Ford Bronco II
Hi there everyone is puzzeled so hopefully someone on this sight might know. It is a 86 ford bronco manuall transmision. 302 efi. I pulled the top of the gear box my synchros look good and i was able to manually move them. I put them what would have been my first gear but no luck. I push the clutch in its fine let out the clutch it wants to go in reverse. If i put it in 1st 2nd what ever it boggs down and dies . what em i missing here??? please help
Make sure your emergency brake cable hasn't seized up. Some vehicles use reverse to adjust the brakes. Try moving the vehicle with the clutch pushed in, then with the clutch out to make sure it is not sticking, check your shifter linkage to make sure it is not bent or sticking.
