Check for fuses/power/ground to the engine computer (or injector drive computer) whatever the case is.

Spark, fuel pump, and starter all are independant of the fuel injection computer.

Either the computer itself has gone bad, or it is not receiving power or ground, or wiring to the injectors might be bad...

SOURCE: car has no spark or injector pulse(new ecm, crank sensor)

Check the fuse for the injectors, some vehicles have the injectors and coil running on the same circut, at the same time check the fuse for the ignition.

SOURCE: crank no start: has no spark and only has injector

Fuel pump, you have to have press in the rail to fire all injectors- she will run on ether but not good for her. Ck your pump and any related fuses, relays, wiring.

Why does the fuel injector receive no pulse for 1998 ford explorer 4.0 motor

The 6 cyclinder motor has 6 fuel injectors. If your not getting pulse Electrical grond to an injector wire theirs a likly chance your not getting it at another. If your getting no pulse at all the engine won't run. Does the check engine light on with the engine running? What meadod did you determine that it had no pulse? Remove one injector wire one at a time with the engine running? If it's not running at all then the no pulse can be a common system part like the crank senser. Does the engine get spark? Most of the time pulse and spark are hand in hand so if the crank senser were bad it's not going to have s[ark either.

Cranks, but will not start. We have spark, timing belts okay, and fuel pressure.

Do you have a tach on the dash? If so crank it over and see if rpm climb, if not you may have a crank sensor out, if you have a test light you can check for injector pulse, sometimes a crank sensor will let you have spark but no injector pulse, there is also a fuse for injectors, you have 2 wires to the injector, connect the test light to the wires and turn it over and see if it blinks.

well you can check the injector pulse with a noid light and if no blink then you can assume that the injectors are good then you can either go after the pick up coil and make sure you have spark through the wires but if you have a blinking light then you lack something else you need three things compression fuel and spark and it will run hope this helps oh most important check all the fuses and relays
