SOURCE: 1996 Fleetwood Motorhome Start problem

First before we start buying any parts. Have someone tap the top of the starter solenoid on the pass side engine wall. Do this while you're turning the key.If it starts thats one problem out of the way. As far as the regulator and its condition the coach could have been asembled in several possible states and or countries. I've never seen two alike unless they were lined up at a dealership...lol. Just grab one of those 10 dollar meters and check the voltage at each battery while its running, while it's not running and while you are switched to dual mode. All may be well.or not. But you'll save a lot of time with that little meter. There is no practicle way(being a sealed unit) to actually check the regulator.Keep it simple and take your time. Good Luck. P.S. The alternator also has an internal regulator so run checks with the lights and fans on to make sure your getting sufficient voltage all the time. Thanks, Dana.

SOURCE: ford e350 dash controls don't work switch

Well, there is a vacuum canister under the hood that stores vacuum for the heater. Yes, this could be the problem, or it could also be something electrical. By the sounds of your problem i would lean towards a vacuum problem. The vacuum canister will black in color and usually round, it will be on the passenger side, usually by the heater box. there will 2 vacuum hoses on it. Are you hearing any hisses coming from the dash area, or under the hood? That is another sign you have a vacuum leak as well. Hope tihs helps you out....

Unfortunately Ford doesn't supply a download for guides older than 1996.
If the changes were minor (they often are), the '96 version should help:

1995 Ford e350 460 cranks but no spark or fuel

Hello Anita
I remember seeing this post! I think I may have answered it but not sure. It may be a glitch, we do get posts vanish. The reason I remember is because I have been helping a guy called Ed Z with his E350 motorhome. Tag yourself on his post and introduce yourself. He is very capable at fixing his engine.

2013 FORD E350 5,4L ONLY CLICKS WHEN I START DON OT HAVE POWER TO THE STARTER FROM THE SWTCH BATTERY STARTER SWTCH AND SAFETY NEUTRAL SWICH GOOD WHAT NEXT

If it clicks, then it is getting power from the switch to the starter solenoiod. So if you know the battery is fully charged, then the problem is either one of the battery cables or connections, or the starter itself is defective.`.

No power (electriclity)

CHECK THE BATTERY TERMINALS. SOME OF THESE HAVE A TENDENCY TO LOOSE THEIR CONTINUTY. IF YOU CHANGE THE BATTERY TERMINALS TO NEW ONES, THIS SHOULD ALLOW YOU TO START THE TRUCK. A FULL TEST OF THE CHARGING SYSTEM SHOULD BE PERFORMED AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENCE. I HOPE THIS SOLVES THE PROBLEM. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO KEEP ME POSTED AS TO YOUR PROGRESS. THANKS FOR USING FIX-YA. BEST OF LUCK.
