What about the maintenance of the car
spark plug, wire,fuel filter, air filter , clean trottle body, then also try to idle engine and hit the MAF lightly if engine stall or run rough then the MAF is defect

I would check the ignition switch, these are prone to key and barrel wear, Sounds silly but if you have another key try that as a newer,less worn profile key can sometimes help with a solution

Won't start sometimes

Hmm, sounds like starter. Next time it will not start, don't hold the key for almost a minute. Try turning the key several times if no luck, grabb a hammer and LIGHTLY tap on starter. If it turns over normally then, starter is going out.
