SOURCE: 1994 Buick Park Ave fuel pump or relay reset??

No switch. Take a big rubber hammer and strike bottom of tank while someone is cranking car. Sometimes this will make pump work until you shut it off to replace the pump.

SOURCE: My 1999 Chevy Tahoe wont start unless i spray

It is not a fuel pump problem.
It a cold start valve problem. It didn't open. There are 2 things to check.
1- The cooling thermal sensor is not sending the proper signal to the ECU to turn on the cold start valve.
2- The bad solenoid inside the cold start valve causing it not operational.
Case 1 you can easily replace the thermal sensor.
Case 2 checking this requires professional skill to confirm if there is a signal at the valve during the start.
Good luck

Cranks no start

There is a lot of types of starting fluid. Some is kind of safe....kind of!! Most will destroy your engine!! If you are using starting fluid on a Saturn, you really need to stop. Your fuel pressure could be incorrect. The fuel pump relay could be bad, or a fuse. Your fuel pump may be going out. Listen to your fuel pump when you turn the key to the "run" position before turning the starter over. You shoulh hear a 2 second buzz from the fuel pump. If you don't hear this , you have a fuel pump issue.

I have a 1994 eagle talon its been siting for 5 years it will not start unless i spray starter fluid in it and only stays runing as long as i keep spraying i think it may be the fuel pump but not sure if...

It definatly sounds like a fuel delivery problem check the fuel pump relay and all the fuses for the pump if all if these check out most likely the fuel pump is bad from sitting so long and will require replacement.

1994 cougar will turn over but wont start, i put start fkuid and start normal

If it starts when you spray in starter fluid it would sound like a fuel supply problem. Make sure you are getting fuel and have a sufficient supply. Possibly a bad fuel pump or pressure regulator.

Wont crank unless u spray starter fluid in. Cleaned air flow sensors. runs fine as long as u hold down the gas. No idling.

the pump is part of the filter/separator not in the tank no fuel will come out if filter is removed make sure there is fuel in the upper filter if there is the pump is ok it might be an oil pressure concern
