Making buzzing noise when driving.

MY VW Rabbit is making a weird buzzing noise when I open the driver door and also the whole time I'm driving. It sounds like it's coming from the rear passenger side wheel, but like I said makes the sound when I open my drivers side door as well. What could this be?

Fuel pump noise 81 vw rabbit pickup

The rotor bearings are bad in the fuel pump. Pull the gas tank and replace the pump before it fails, it will likely be in the near future or when the weather turns cold..

(1995 vw passat) central locking doesnt work just buzzes

Your central locking pump in the right rear of boot area behind light cluster may be faulty but if not check the rubber pipe between each door, open doors wide and in the big black rubber boot is the small rubber pipe. They perrish and cost peanuts to replace from any car parts shop.Do all doors regardless as one worn means all will go soon also.

can you hear this through the stereo?  If so you may have a problem created somewhere in your ignition , where the stereo is picking up a fluctuating signal.

1998 Lincoln Town Car Air Suspension problem *buzzing noise

Um based on what your giving me I can only assume the battery light is goin on due to a heavy load on the alternator and its not happy. probably die from the buzzing noise?(possible air compressor due to a lean in the air ride?) but thats a guess. the battery light will go on when voltage sensor gets less than 12.5 volts. when the buzzing stops does the light go off shortly?

i doubt the windows have any thing to do with it, unless for some odd reason they are drawing power the whole time your driving around. get your alternator checked before you get stranded. im sure there is something causing extra stress, or its just the alternators time to die.

Good Luck

Ticking noise while car is running or idling

maybe is the air compresor and that's the noise that you hearing. Put the air in off if the noise stop, your problem is the compresor.
