Go to rockauto. Com and look up your car the pictures are there camshaft position sensor and bank 1 is the passenger side of the engine and I would check the connection for dirt and corrosion first clean it then clear the codes if it happens again then change the camshaft sensor there are 2 kinds 1st with just a plug on the end the 2nd with a wire lead and a plug so go look at them then go to your motors right side take a picture of it and also print out the rockauto photos ok

The camshaft sensor is located right above the crankshaft pulley on the passengers side of the front cover of the engine. It will be a 3 pin sensor either gray or black in color. There is a pointer that is attached to the sensor and it is either gold or silver in color. There is also a recall out on this camshaft sensor. If the color of the sensor is black then it should qualify for the recall. If you get in touch with a Ford dealer they should be able to help you with your recall if the sensor is black since it is a safety recall. As far as your exhaust pressure sensor it is located on the front of the engine right by the heater core hose a little to the passengers side of the center of the front of the engine. there will be a tube attached to the bottom of the sensor that goes from it to the front of the exhaust manifold on the very front of the passengers side exhaust manifold.

Getting the following codes from a 1997 Pontiac Grand Am....... PO121 TPS / Pedal Position Sensor A CKT Range / Perf Also, PO341 Camshaft Position Sensor A - Bank 1 CKT Range/Perf. Any thoughts on the

po121 means that there is a problem with the throttle position sensor ( tps). or in the wiring or connector, most likely its the tps that is bad. first remove connection from tps, heres how to test. use an ohms meter and hook a lead to top or bottom terminal of tps. use other probe on center terminal of tps. move throttle plate slowly, if the needle on meter does not move at a smooth pace, then tps is bad. good-luck!!
