Supposedly blinking ac indicates ambient air sensor needs replaced ?????? no it doesn't ! Why don't you do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop that knows how to diagnose it correctly . Hooking up a factory or professional scan tool an checking for code's is the first thing to do. The way to know if a sensor has a malfunction is by A stored DTC - diagnostic trouble code .

I know on the 92 cavalier the resistor is right by the blower motor under the dash passenger side. There should be a connection with at least 4 wires that go to it. Good luck!
You shouldn't have to remove the glass. On most vehicles you can remove the regulator from the bottom of the glass carefully so the glass doesn't drop. Then carefully lower the glass into the door. There are plenty Of YouTube Videos ..even if not for your model vehicle all of the basics are the same.
IF it has one it will be in the low side line just behind the passengers side headlight.
Volvo uses the pressostat valve to read the low side pressure via the diagnostic computer. IF it's a simple evac and recharge you only need the high side port.
FYI, if it's low pay attention to the weld where the condenser and accumulator support attach. they're know to crack.
There are actually 3 seperate places for fuses. If you need to replace for the driver or passenger 12volt, its located inside the cabin, open the door and look at the actual side of the dash, there you'll see the fuse box. If its the 04 xc90 it would be fuse #11. If its for the cargo area, its located on the drivers side also just inside the frame almost behind the brake light, # 7. Hope that helps, I ran across the same issue, just wanted to charge my phone.
Front seating area, passenger side, behind dash, under access panel, mounted in fuse panel in glove compartment behind. Let me know if you need anything else.
If the motor is attached with rivets, then you will have to "pop" the rivets out and replace with small bolts and nuts. I had the same issue with my 96 Buick.
most ambient air sensors for your inside temp display are in the grille area behind the grille the only other temp sensor for ambient air temp is in the intake duct for the engine.
