Where can I find the factory keyless code for a 1998 Ford Lincoln Navigator? I bought this vehicle from someone else and they didn't give me the manual.
If you take the glove box, open it and pinch the sides so it drops down, you will see a wiring harness directly behind it. On the side wall past the wires is a box. it will have a large 5 digit code on it. That is the master code. With this you can set your own code.
You wont find it unless they gave it to you or wrote it somewhere. the original owner gets to chose thier code. you will have to contact dealer to see if they can reset it so that you can program your own code or if they can access the current code from the vehicles computer. or they may be able to walk you thru a reset procedure over phone but i doubt they will. they will want to see proof of ownership before they do anything.

SOURCE: 1998 Lincoln Navigator rear wiper motor
First remove outer wiper ,take off plastic guard there is a bolt underneath it remve wiper thenremove 2 screws that hold grab handle on inside of rear door.remove 2 plastic push tabs with removal tool.pry plastic cover off carefully removing push tabs with removal tool or flat blade screwdriver about 10 of them if I remember correctly pull bottom half of cover out of each conection and lift off at center. peel plastic from gate carefully as you have to put it back on.this exposes the motor disconnect grey plug to wiper motor ,three 8 mm screws hold motor to tailgate best of luck
SOURCE: I have a 1998 lincoln navigator.starter issues
You may be in the group who had a bad starter cable. My 1999 had problems with the primary starter cable that runs under the vehicle. Its over $100 and like wrestling with a python to get it out.
If you noticed lights dimming or heard the radio crackling, the body grounds may corroded.

If you cant get a code by morning call the ford dealer and ask the service department they will tell you exactly how to do it.
