if they were installed correctly the fuse should be in the fuse box (usually driver side under dash) marked seat heater or in an acc slot. also try looking under the seats to see if they are plugged in correctly.
if this problem only started after the heater core was replaced then i would have the work checked to see if something happen at this time and corrected if it was done at a shop it shoudn`t cost you as it worked before they worked on it,something may have been over looked by accident.you can check the fuses with a test light to make sure its good.
There are TSB's for this issue. I chased this issue for months on mine. Go find the TSB's, there's troubleshooting pointing out the faulty part. It could be, the brake light switch, the hazzard light switch itself, the multi-function switch. I had replaced all of these and still had the problem. Wiring that goes from the brake switch to up near the fender was shorting against the fender. I replaced the pigtail, problem fixed. Best bet to help you, is find the TSB's for this problem.
on a hot day it will blow warm/hot air if the AC is turned off or not working
If its hot air and AC is working then i would start by checking the fuse or relay. if its not the fuse/relay then i would look into the heater box there is a door that blocks the hot air
Alot could have happened when you pulled off the dash try these:
1. Make sure that all of the wires are connected to the speedo and heater/ac dials are connected
2. The most possible solution is that you blew a fuse check the under the dash fuse box and make sure the appropriate fuse isn't blown.
3. Make sure the wire that goes to your interior light dimmer switch is plugged up correctly.
